Tunable resonance circuit for a PLL-FM demodulator
Abstract
In a receiving circuit with a tunable resonance circuit for a PLL-FM demodulator for satellite television, a first inductance is arranged in parallel with two tuning diodes and connected to ground via a capacitance. At the end of the first inductor facing away from the ground there is a second parallel inductor, the base of which is capacitively connected to the ground and to which an adjustable bias voltage is applied. By changing the two inductances and the bias voltage, the tuning characteristic of the resonance circuit can be largely linearized in order to achieve error-free demodulation. The circuit according to the invention manages with a few inexpensive components, so that inexpensive series production is possible.
