Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to a fluorescent mono, di- or polyamide of an aminodicarboxylic acid and a tetrapyrrole containing at least three carboxy groups of the structure: wherein Z is the amino acid residue and X is the tetrapyrrole residue and «n» an integer from 1 to 4 inclusive. Disclosed is also a process for the preparation of the new tetrapyrrole compounds. The new compounds are active and can be used in the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of tumors and cancerous tissues in the human or animal body.
