Abstract
Abstract Per-acids and per-acid precursor compounds of the general type RXAOOH and RXAL, wherein R is a hydrocarbyl group, X is a hetero-atom, A is a carbonyl bridging group and L is a leaving group, especially oxybenzenesulfonate, are useful bleaching compounds for fabrics. Laundry products containing same are disclosed.
