Abstract
Abstract An orally ingestible composition contains a caries and gingivitis inhibiting amount of a digest of a protein or a polypeptide or a salt thereof. The digest may be in solution and can be effected chemically or proteolytically. The composition may be in the form of either foodstuff, confectionery, dentifrice or tablets.
