Abstract Office furniture of the type comprising two box structures (1-2) supporting a top (3) having an opening (41) right above a box structure (2), it being possible for the said opening to be concealed by a movable panel (41), characterised in that it comprises, in one of the box structures (1), an electronic unit of a calculating machine and, in the other box structure (2), located right above the opening of the top, a visualisation and display screen (30), means being provided for selectively controlling the position of the screen (30) for the user projecting from the surface of the top after the panel (41) has been removed from the opening (79) or has been retracted into the storage position in the said box structure (2), the panel (41) then concealing the said opening (79). <IMAGE>
