In die Steuervorrichtung ist ein weiterer, zusätzlicher Speicher einsteckbar, der wie der Hauptspeicher ein Organisationsprogramm enthält. Wird vom Rechner das Hinzufügen eines weiteren Festwertspeichers erkannt, so wird statt des Organisationsprogrammes des ersten Festwertspeichers das Organisationsprogramm des zugesteckten Festwertspeichers abgearbeitet. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Funktionsabläufe des ersten Festwertspeichers zu ändern oder durch weitere Funktionsabläufe zu ergänzen.
