Process and device for purifying flue gases in combustion plants
Abstract
In the case of a heating furnace with a boiler (10), the flue gases escaping at the nozzle (14) are conducted to the chimney (22) by a cleaning unit (16) and a suction fan (20). Inside the cleaning unit, the flue gas stream passes through several cooling cells arranged one above the other, which are connected to each other by narrow openings in the separating surfaces. By cooling the flue gas and the associated condensation in the cooling cells, the flue gas constituents are separated and heat is recovered by heating a refrigerant. The flue gases are sucked through narrow openings in the dividing surfaces and locally accelerated to speeds of approx. 10 to 20 m / s. As a result, the condensate dripping from top to bottom is entrained by the flue gas stream and sprayed into the cooling cells. The intensive mixing between the flue gas and the condensate leads to above-average cleaning and heat transfer properties.
