Abstract

Abstract Radiating element formed by two orthogonal dipoles each constructed from two coaxial lines (1 and 2; 3 and 4) associated with two radiating wires (5 and 6; 7 and 8), one of the two coaxial lines (1; 3) of each pair being supplied through one of its ends (17; 18) of its central conductor (13; 15) the other end (19; 20) of which is electrically connected to the central conductor (14; 16) of the other coaxial line (2; 4) which is open-circuited in such a way that the phase centres (0) of the two dipoles merge. Application to an electronically scanned array. <IMAGE>
