Antenna arrangement in the rear window of a car
Abstract
Active antenna for LMK and VHF radio reception in the rear window of a motor vehicle with a heating field inside. The LMK reception takes place with the help of an antenna conductor (3) which is not galvanically connected to the heating field (2) and which is arranged in the area of the rear window (1) not covered by the heating field (2) and whose connection (4) to the Input terminal of a low-noise linear LMK amplifier (23) with a capacitively high-impedance input resistor is connected via the shortest possible lead. The distances of this antenna conductor (3) from the edge of the disc (1) and from the heating field (2) are dimensioned so that the amplifier input signal is maximum. The VHF signal path is either directly connected to the heating field (2) or suitably coupled on the input side to the LMK antenna conductor (3).
