Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
92 words
A method of code protection for an electronic key, in particular for motor vehicles with built-in central locking, which consists of a transmitter which transmits a coded infra-red signal which is received by a receiver tuned to the code, where the code of the signal can be automatically adjusted in the transmitter and the receiver, and where the transmitter transmits a reset code following desynchronisation or following a change of battery in the transmitter or the receiver, characterised in that the reset code is activated by the tapping-in of a binary number.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
92 words
A method of code protection for an electronic key, in particular for motor vehicles with built-in central locking, which consists of a transmitter which transmits a coded infra-red signal which is received by a receiver tuned to the code, where the code of the signal can be automatically adjusted in the transmitter and the receiver, and where the transmitter transmits a reset code following desynchronisation or following a change of battery in the transmitter or the receiver, characterised in that the reset code is activated by the tapping-in of a binary number.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
34 words
A method as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the binary number is input in a morse code via an auxiliary push button, preferably a recessed «pencil push-buttons, when the transmitter is connected.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
27 words
A method as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the tapped-in number is cancelled again following a few transmitting procedures of the reset code.
Claim 5
Independent Claim
33 words
A method as claimed in one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the input of the binary number is linked to a «repetition block» for a defined duration of time.
