Abstract Translated from German Ein Kolben (10), insbesondere zur Verwendung in einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine, mit zwei an einer Wand eines Zylinders (12) gleitenden Druckseiten (22, 24), weist zum Führen des Kolbens (10) und zum Verringern der Gleitfläche und somit der Gleitreibung sich von den Druckseiten (22, 24) erhebende profilierte Stützpuffer (26) auf. Das Profil der Stützpuffer (26) ist gekrümmt. A piston (10), in particular for use in an internal combustion engine, with two pressure sides (22, 24) sliding on a wall of a cylinder (12), has to guide the piston (10) and to reduce the sliding surface and thus the sliding friction profiled support buffers (26) elevating the printed pages (22, 24).
