Pharmaceutical multicomponent systems and process for their preparation
Abstract
The invention relates to liquid, transparent multicomponent systems for use in pharmaceutical preparations for cutaneous, oral, vaginal and parenteral administration of active pharmaceutical ingredients. The multicomponent systems according to the invention contain the active substances in a solution of an oily and optionally an aqueous component in the presence of certain physiologically compatible surfactants and co-surfactants. Under certain conditions, the co-surfactants can serve as an oil component or the latter can optionally take on the co-surfactant function. The biological availability of the active substances applied in the form of the multicomponent systems according to the invention is considerably increased compared to that of the active substances applied in the form of known multicomponent systems.
