Valve arrangement for the inflation and deflation of an air cushion
Abstract
@ For inflating and deflating an air cushion, especially for ski boots, a pump (1) with a valve arrangement is proposed, which comprises two valves (3 and 4). The two valves (3 and 4) are arranged so that after actuation of the actuating member (9) of the inlet valve (3) and after a predetermined stroke, this valve interacts with the actuating member (12) of a second valve (4). The second valve (4), like the first valve (3), is designed as a check valve. Air from the pump chamber of the pump (1) can thus be pressed into an air cushion (8) by pressing the check valve (4) while keeping the valve (3) closed. The non-return valve (4) closes automatically to draw additional air into the air pump (1), whereby the valve (3) is opened for the suction. Finally, the valve (4) is pushed open for emptying air from the cushion (8) and the switching of the valve (3), so that the air can escape through both valves (Fig. 1).
