Abstract
Abstract Adaptive radar signal processor apt to detect the useful echo in the presence of an additive disturbance made up of clutter and noise, through which the disturbance can be cancelled and the useful signal can be enhanced by means of the synthesis of a filter, adapted to the useful signal, which rejects the disturbance spectrum frequency components by adapting itself in real time to its variations.

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
69 words
Adaptive radar signal processor for the detection of the useful signal in the presence of an additive disturbance due to clutter and/or noise, characterized by being made up (Fig. 2) of a modular structure of decorrelators (A) and of a series of power normalizers SC-NP through, which the processor parameters can be modified automatic ally as a function of the characteristics of the disturbance and of the useful signal.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
24 words
Adaptive radar signal processor, as per claim 1, charac - terized by the fact that its configuration is entirely transversal, that is without feedback.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
58 words
Adaptive radar signal processor as per claims 1 and 2 characterized by the fact that each decorrelating block (A) is made up of a lattice structure, being it in turn made up of multipliers 13, 15, 17, 19 (Fig. 3-a), of integrators 14, 18, of a summing circuit 20, an element for the calculation of the complex-conyugate function.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
43 words
Adaptive radar signal processor as per the claims above, characterized by the fact that the power and correlation estimates, as per claim 3, can be utilized both for power normalizing and for linear processing of the samples of the expected target signal itself.
