Abstract
Abstract Compositions based on silane-grafted olefin polymers which are crosslinkable after shaping and which contain from 0.5 to 10% by weight of crystalline zeolites in powder form and, preferably, also a crosslinking coagent consisting of an aryl-carboxilic or aryl-sulphonic acid and/or a crosslinking catalyst.

Compositions based on polyolefins which have been modified by grafting with unsaturated hydrolisable silanes and comprising crystalline zeolite in powder form chosen among types 3A, 4A, 5A, X, Y, P or hydroxysodalite and which are present to the extent of 0.5 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts of polyolefin, said compositions being suitable for shaping articles which are cross linkable, after shaping, by heating and/or exposure to water and/or exposure to microwaves.

Compositions as claimed in claim 1 characterized further by the fact that they contain a coagent for the silane crosslinking, consisting of an arylcarboxylic or arylsulphonic acid having a melting point higher than that of the initial polyolefin, 1-25 parts by weight of acid being present for 100 parts of zeolite, said acid having possibly but not necessarily been previously combined with the zeolite.
