L'invention a pour objet un dispositif comprenant une cellule à cristal liquide où des textures (+ θ et - θ) décelables optiquement sont induites par des champs électriques continus de signes appropriés, ces textures étant maintenues sous l'effet de champs électriques alternatifs.
