Abstract

Abstract In a disc cartridge comprising a top half and a bottom half assembled together to provide a disc case for rotatably accommodating a disc, a shutter member slidably assembled to the disc case with at least one projection formed on the shutter member engaged in a guide slot defined along one edge ofthe disc case, one slit is defined extending from said one edge to the guide slot so that a resilient deformable portion is formed, whereby when the shutter member is assembled to the disc case, the resilient deformable portion can be resiliently deformed by the force applied to resilient deformable member by the projection of the shutter member for allowing the projection to ride over the resilient deformable portion.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 121 words
A disc cartridge comprising a top half and a bottom half assembled together to provide a disc case for rotatably accommodating a disc, a shutter member slidably assembled to the disc case with at least one projection formed on the shutter member engaged in a guide slot defined along one edge of the disc case and at least one slit extending from said one edge to the guide slot so that resilient deformable means is formed, whereby when the shutter member is assembled to the disc case, the resilient deformable means can be resiliently deformed by the force applied to resilient deformable means by the projection of the shutter member for allowing the projection to ride over the resilient deformable means.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 121 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 38 words
The disc cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said shutter member is provided with two separate encacing projections and a part of the guide slot is opened through the slit to provide at least one resilient deformable means.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 45 words
The disc cartridge according to claim 2, wherein two resilient deformable means are formed near the first portion of the guide slot where said guide slot is opened by the slit and near the second portion of the guide slot opposite to the first portion.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 18 words
The disc cartridge according to claim 1, wherein the front portion of the resilient deformable means is beveled.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 45 words
The disc cartridge according to claim 4, wherein said shutter member is provided with the projections only on one plate of the shutter member and the front edge portion of the disc case opposite to the resilient deformable means is shaped in a right angle.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 48 words
The disc cartridge according to claim 3, wherein the two resilient deformable means are connected together at the intermediate portion of the one edge portion of the disc case and each of the resilient deformable means are formed in a canti lever manner supported by the connected portion.
