Functioning mode controller for a hydrocarburant dispenser with an electronic calculator
Abstract
To introduce the operating mode information (in particular the unit price) into the computer (30) the dispenser comprises an explosion-proof box (20) comprising a window (26). A control unit (40) makes it possible to emit an infrared coded beam. Inside the housing (20) there is an infrared detector (48) arranged behind the window (26) which converts the infrared signal into electrical signals. These signals are decoded by a circuit (50) to supply the computer (30) with the operating mode information and in particular the unit price of the hydrocarbon.
