Light-sensitive coating composition and use thereof

Abstract Translated from German Polyimide aus aromatischen Tetracarbonsäurederivaten und aromatischen Diaminen, bei denen beide ortho-Stellungen zu einem an eine Imidgruppe des Polymeren gebundenen Phenylenrest durch Alkylgruppen substituiert sind, können zusammen mit organischen chromophoren Polyaziden durch Bestrahlung vernetzt werden. Lösungen der genannten Polyimide und Polyazide in organischen Lösungsmitteln können als strahlungsempfindliche Beschichtungsmittel z.B. zur Herstellung von lsolier- und Schutzlacken und insbesondere zur Herstellung gedruckter Schaltungen und integrierter Schaltkreise verwendet werden. Polyimides from aromatic tetracarboxylic acid derivatives and aromatic diamines, in which both ortho positions to a phenylene radical bonded to an imide group of the polymer are substituted by alkyl groups, can be crosslinked together with organic chromophoric polyazides by irradiation. Solutions of the polyimides and polyazides mentioned in organic solvents can be used as radiation-sensitive coating agents, e.g. for the production of insulating and protective lacquers and in particular for the production of printed circuits and integrated circuits.
