Chair with an inclinable seat and back-rest
Abstract
The seat part (3) and the backrest part (6) are tiltably mounted in bearing points (1, 2), for example a base frame, and are connected to one another by a joint (8). The seat part (3) has an extension part (10) which extends against the backrest (7) of the backrest part (6), while the backrest (7) is held at a distance from the joint (9) by an extension arm (11). A spring element (13) is supported at its ends on the free end (12) of the extension part (10) and on the backrest (7). During the transition from the working position (drawn lines) to the rest position, a relative movement is superimposed on the seat part (3) and the backrest lever (8) during their pivoting movement, resulting in unequal lowering lengths (A, a) of the free end (12) of the seat part (3) and the backrest section at the transition into the extension lever (10). This relative movement avoids the otherwise inevitable "pull-out effect" for the chair user, although additional linkages as in known designs are not required.
