Abstract
Abstract A microcomputer (22) controlled monitoring system (10) and method for detecting an electrical open, shorted or operative condition of an electrical load (16). A load switch circuit (14) couples the load (16) to a common voltage line and is controlled by a single drive line (20) from a microcomputer (22) controlled load monitor circuit (12).
