Arrangement for the temperature control of apparatuses that produce or process plastics
Abstract
In an arrangement for tempering devices for the production of plastics or plastics processing, in order to set or maintain predetermined temperatures with extremely narrow temperature tolerances, the extruders (1) have a number of independent tempering points (2 to 11) in series, starting from the end of the plastics material on the inlet side at least one temperature control point (2) is in a cold water circuit and the remaining temperature control points (3 to 11) are in a hot oil circuit and a hot oil circuit. The temperature of the temperature control point (2) in the cold water circuit can be adjusted and maintained by changing the flow rate and the temperatures of the remaining temperature control points (3 to 11) can be adjusted and maintained at constant flow rates due to changes in the mixture of hot oil and hot oil by means of mixing valves (31) that are independently assigned to the temperature control points.
