Abstract

Process for the continuous production of disposable diapers and diapers obtained. Process for the continuous production of disposable diapers comprising an absorbent cushion fixed inside a moisture-impermeable envelope having front and rear transverse edges and a central crotch area provided with lateral cutouts to allow the passage of the legs and of elastic means fixed to the waterproof envelope by gluing at least in the crotch area and brought into contact with the internal face of the waterproof envelope driven continuously by a rotary drum (4) with smooth surface , characterized in that said elastic means supplied continuously are glued over their entire length and that the tension exerted on said elastic means is periodically varied at the points of contact with the impermeable envelope (1) from a value close to zero corresponding to the portions of elastic means bonded to the front and rear transverse edges, up to a maximum value corresponding to the portions of the means é elastic banded on the central crotch area.
