Mit Hilfe des Umlenkgitters kann die Leckluft/ Kühlluft-Strömung des Schaufelrotors an die drallarme Haupströmung nach dem Rotor angepaßt werden, um eine Fehlanströmung der nachfolgenden Turbinenstufe wirksam zu verhindern.
