L'invention a pour objet un dispositif coupleur dans lequel le couplage entre les guides d'onde est réalisé, d'une part, par l'intermédiaire des ondes évanescentes se propageant dans le milieu séparant ces guides, et, d'autre part par l'intermédiaire d'une interaction non linéaire dans le substrat (3) où sont réalisés les guides d'onde. Un premier guide (5) est réalisé par diffusion ionique d'ions H et un second (6) par diffusion localisée de titane dans le substrat (3).
