Abstract 1. Filler-containing acrylic fibres or acrylonitrile polymers containing at least 50 % by weight of acrylonitrile which contain as filler a water-insoluble metal oxide, hydroxide carbonate, silicate or suphate having an average particle diameter of from 1 to 1000 nm in a quantity of from 15 to 50 % by weight, based on total solids, characterized in that they are dry-spun.
