Abstract Translated from German Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochmolekularen, gegebenenfalls verzweigten Polyarylensulfiden. Diese können in einem polaren organischen Lösungsmittel in Abwesenheit von Wasser in einer Eintopfreaktion hergestellt werden. The invention relates to a process for the production of high molecular weight, optionally branched polyarylene sulfides. These can be prepared in a polar organic solvent in the absence of water in a one-pot reaction.
