Abstract Translated from German Bei einem mittels Abgasturbolader aufgeladenen Dieselmotor (1) sind sowohl der Verdichter (4) als auch die Turbine (3) des Laders für volle Motorleistung und -drehzahl ausgelegt. Eine mit einem Rückschlagventil (9) und einem Regelorgan (10) versehene Umblaseleitung (8) ist zwischen die Abgasleitung (7) und die Ladeluftleitung (5) geschaltet. Die Turbine (3) ist mit Mitteln (11, 12, 13) zur Veränderung des Turbinen-Ersatzquerschnittes ausgerüstet. Bei Teillast wird der Ersatzquerschnitt und gleichzeitig der Umblaseleitung-Querschnitt variiert, um möglichst nahe an der Pumpgrenze des Verdichters (4) fahren zu können.
