Abstract A substituted quinoline or hydroquinoline compound of formula (I) <CHEM> wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a CF3 group, A represents a direct bond or the group -CONH-, R min represents a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy-carbonyl group, n represents an integer of 1 to 4, and m represents 0 or 1, provided that when m is 0, the bond between the 1-position nitrogen atom and the 2-position carbon atom and the bond between the 3-position carbon atom and the 4-position carbon atom are both double bonds, and when m is 1, the two bonds are both single bonds, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof; a process for producing the aforesaid compound; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same.
