Erfindungsgemäß enthalten die Gießharze ein Gemisch aus Organosiliciumverbindungen mit funktionellen Gruppen und Metallsäureestern von Metallen der IV. und V. Nebengruppe des Periodischen Systems der Elemente. Die funktionelle Gruppe der Organosiliciumverbindung ist ethylenisch ungesättigt und entweder direkt oder über Alkylengruppen mit dem Siliciumatom verbunden; sie kann ein- oder mehrmals im Molekül enthalten sein. Der Zusatz dieses Gemisches zu den an sich bekannten Gießharzen bewirkt eine wünschenswerte Herabsetzung der Viskosität dieser Harze, die beispielsweise zur Herstellung von Sanitärartikeln eingesetzt werden. The present invention treats casting resins from acrylic acid esters with a high proportion of finely dispersed fillers. According to the invention, the casting resins contain a mixture of organosilicon compounds with functional groups and metal acid esters of metals of subgroups IV and V of the Periodic Table of the Elements. The functional group of the organosilicon compound is ethylenically unsaturated and is bonded to the silicon atom either directly or via alkylene groups; it can be contained in the molecule one or more times. The addition of this mixture to the casting resins known per se brings about a desirable reduction in the viscosity of these resins, which are used, for example, for the production of sanitary articles.
