Abstract

Method and device for processing artificial remanence in a digital image transformer transforming a relatively slow renewal image into a television type image. A global law of remanence decrease is applied to the image transformer, in a logical remanence circuit (8) constituted by a series of laws which may be all different, each applied during the time of renewal of the image under control. control logic (11). These laws are chosen according to the video information (Vi) that one has to process. Application to the visualization of information in particular from the field of radar, sonar, infrared sensors, ultrasound systems.
