Abstract
Abstract A damping element (1) arranged between the ski surface (2) and the ski binding (3) absorbs the shocks and elastic vibrations resulting from the passage on irregularities of the ground. The damping element facilitates particularly the practice of ski, mainly when taking curves, while improving in general the security at high speeds. Since it has a shock damping and antivibrating effect, the damping device also prevents ski accidents. The damping device comprises a polyurethane layer with on top of it at least one metal layer of aluminum alloy.
