Claim 2
Dependent Claim 95 words
Radiant heating element (11) for heating glass ceramic plates in cookers, with at least two zones (16, 16a, 17, 17a) with timed, power-controlled electric heating resistors (13, 13a, 14, 15, 15a) and a thermal cut-out (19, 19a) with a temperature sensor (18, 18a) extending over both zones (16, 16a, 17, 17a), characterized in that a series heating resistor (15, 15a) arranged in the outer zone (17) of the heating element is connected in series with a central heating resistor (13, 13a) and can be disconnected in one switching state of the thermal cut-out (19, 19a).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 22 words
Heating element according to claim 1, characterized in that the series heating resistor (15, 15a) surrounds the central heating resistor (13, 13a).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 66 words
Heating element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the series heating resistor (15) is provided in addition to a further heating resistor (14) in an outer zone (17), the specific heating surface loading of the outer heating zone (17) containing the series heating resistor (15) being the same or preferably higher than the specific heating surface loading of the other zone (16).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 29 words
Heating element according to claim 3, characterized in that the series heating resistor (15) takes up part of the circumference and/or the radial extension of the outer zone (17).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 27 words
Heating element according to claim 3, characterized in that the series heating resistor is arranged separately from the further heating resistor (14) of the corresponding zone (17).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 33 words
Heating element according to claim 1, characterized in that the series heating resistor (15a) is series connected to a lower power for reducing an increased switching-in power in the central heating resistor (13a).
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 37 words
Heating element according to claim 6, characterized in that the series heating resistor (15a) closely surrounds a central zone (16a) containing the central heating resistor (13a), the series heating resistor (15a) being an outer heating coil turn.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 39 words
Heating element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the thermal cut-out (19) has two contacts (20, 21) with different response temperatures, whereof that with the lower response temperature is constructed as a changeover contact (21).
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 54 words
Heating element according to claim 8, characterized in that the changeover contact (21) connects in parallel the heating resistors (13, 14) in a central and an outer zone (16, 17) in an initial cooking phase and on switching over connects one of these heating resistors (13) in series with the series-connected heating resistor (15).
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 79 words
Heating element according to claim 8, characterized in that the changeover contact (21) is located in the lead to the associated heating resistor (13), is constructed as a reversing switch and on reaching its response temperature connects the heating resistor (13) associated therewith in parallel with the in each case next heating resistor (14), the switch (20) with the highest response temperature being in series with the common return line (28) of all the heating resistors (13, 14, 15).
