Method of producing ceramic cold conductors with electric values of close tolerances
Abstract
The method for manufacturing ceramic PTC resistors (PTC resistors) is based on a sintered plate-shaped body (1) made of ceramic PTC material, the area of which, given the thickness and the electrical properties of the material, is a multiple of the area of the ceramic PTC thermistor (3, 4), this body (1) being provided with metal layers as metal coatings on its large surfaces, then determining the resistance value attributable to the surface unit and then dividing the body (1) into the PTC thermistors desired with regard to the closely tolerated nominal resistance value.
