Hinge fitting for vehicle seats with adjustable back-rest
Abstract
The joint fitting has a fixed joint part assigned to the seat and a pivotable joint part assigned to the backrest, the two joint parts being connected to one another via a pivot axis. At the same time, the hinge fitting comprises a position and adjustment device determining the position of the two hinge parts relative to one another, designed as a wobble mechanism, the eccentric of which can be driven via at least one handle arranged on one side of the seat and one of the two hinge parts is elastically supported on the pivot axis by means of a compressible tensioning element. In order to generate a defined contact force acting in the direction of the tooth engagement to eliminate the radial play, the tensioning element is arranged between the eccentric section of the swivel axis and the joint part encompassing it and is only effective in the apex region of the eccentric section in the direction of the tooth engagement point.
