Abstract

The invention relates to an ink ribbon cassette for typewriters and typewriters of booking machines, computers and. Like., With a winding mandrel (13) and an unwinding mandrel (14) for the unused ribbon, around which a ring-like brake part (22) with approximately V-shaped legs (24, 25) is placed, of which one leg (25th ) is held on a projection (26) of the cassette housing (1) and the ink ribbon (F) is guided around the free end of the second leg (pin 28). It is based on the task of creating an ink ribbon cassette, the braking part of which is not only easier and cheaper to produce than known braking parts, but can also achieve a higher braking effect. For this purpose, the invention provides for an ink ribbon cassette of the type described in the introduction that the ring-like brake part (22) is formed from a flat plastic part and its ring-shaped section (23) has a cross-sectional reduction (29) on the side opposite the legs (24, 25) (Fig. 1).
