Abstract

Solar reflectors for solar power plants have a large number of mirrors which direct the solar energy to a predetermined location. The mirrors are attached to holding or guiding rods using fastening elements glued on the back. In order to switch off the thermal expansion between the mirror and the tracking linkage, the fastening elements are made of ceramic material, the linear expansion coefficient of which is α 6² ° 1 · 10 <-> <6> to 15 · 10 <-> <6> K <-> ¹. The fastening element should preferably consist of a ceramic material with a glass phase, such as steatite ceramic. Other materials such as hard porcelain or Al2O3 ceramic can also be used.
