Abstract

The channel (2) filled with liquid has a cross-sectional widening (4) at its end facing away from the outlet opening (3), at which the pressure waves emanating from a transducer (5) provided as a drive element are completely reflected by reversing the sign. Unipolar pulses with the same rising and falling edge are used as control pulses for the converter. The droplet is ejected by the pressure conditions at the outlet opening (3).
