Abstract

Abstract A display unit of speedometer for automobile comprising a car speed operational circuit receiving pulse signals corresponding to car speeds and transmitting output signals with desired number of bits, a set standard speed decision circuit, a set medium speed decision circuit and a car speed mode conversion circuit which are connected with said operational circuit respectively, an OR circuit having an AND circuit capable of transmitting signals changing over standard scale display mode and enlarged scale display mode, a bar graph decoder connected with said car speed mode conversion circuit, and a display device of bar graphic displaying provided with a driving circuit and necessary number of segments, whereby modes can be changed over by giving signals from said OR circuit to said car speed conversion circuit.
