Abstract Translated from German Ein Ultraschall-Endoskop (1), insbesondere für die Gastroskopie, besteht aus einer in einen Körper einführbaren Endoskopsonde (5), an deren distalem Ende ein Ultraschallkopf (13) mittels eines Schlauchüberzugs (12) aufgezogen werden kann. Der Schlauchüberzug (12) kann aber auch von der Sonde (5) abgezogen werden, so daß das Endoskop (1) ohne Ultraschallkopf (13) eingesetzt werden kann. Signalleitungen (27) zum Anschluß des Ultraschallkopfes (13) an ein Signalsteuer- und/oder Verarbeitungsgerät verlaufen in der Wand des Schlauchüberzugs (12) bis zum proximalen Schlauchende.
