Abstract 1. Washing machine, comprising a control system controlling the speed of the drum drive motor (10) to a set value supplied by a programmable switching circuit, and comprising means for detecting out-of-balance conditions in the drum, characterized in that the out-of-balance conditions are detected by the error signal of said control system, i.e., by the difference (epsilon) between the actual rotational speed (Vr ) of the drum and the set speed (Vc ) thereof.
