Abstract
Abstract Method for changing the attitude of the spin axis of a spin- stabilised satellite by means of short pulses, two attitude correction nozzles (12, 14), which are attached to the satellite (rotor) (10) in such a manner that they generate torques opposite to a body-fixed system of coordinates, generating one or more pulse pairs and in each case the pulse from the second nozzle (14) being given one half revolution period after the pulse from the first nozzle (12). <IMAGE>
