Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 13
Claim 1
Independent Claim 95 words
A process for forming a soft, flexible polyurethane film, which process comprises: a) fluidizing finely divided particles of a polyurethane prepolymer having a crystalline melt point in the range of approximately 10 to 45°C, b) pre-heating a film form to a temperature at which the particles will adhere to the form when in contact therewith, c) immersing the pre-heated form in the fluidized particles such that the particles deposit on the form, and d) heating the form to melt the particles such that the particles flow out into a thin continuous essentially pin hole-free film.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 95 words
A process for forming a soft, flexible polyurethane film, which process comprises: a) fluidizing finely divided particles of a polyurethane prepolymer having a crystalline melt point in the range of approximately 10 to 45°C, b) pre-heating a film form to a temperature at which the particles will adhere to the form when in contact therewith, c) immersing the pre-heated form in the fluidized particles such that the particles deposit on the form, and d) heating the form to melt the particles such that the particles flow out into a thin continuous essentially pin hole-free film.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 20 words
A process according to Claim 1, wherein certain portions of the form are pre-heated to higher temperatures than other portions.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 101 words
A process for forming a surgical glove or a similar glove of a flexible nature, which process comprises: a) fluidizing finely divided particles of a polyurethane prepolymer having a crystalline melt point in the range of approximately 10 to 45°C, b) pre-heating a glove form to a temperature at which the particles will adhere to the form when in contact therewith, c) immersing the pre-heated form in the fluidized particles such that the particles deposit on the form, and d) heating the form to melt the particles such that the particles flow out into a thin continuous essentially pin hole-free film.
Claim 5
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 23 words
A process according to Claim 3, wherein the glove form has the cuff portion preheated to a higher temperature than the finger portion.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 15 words
A process according to any preceding claim, which additionally comprises curing the pin hole-free film.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 94 words
A process for forming a surgical glove or a similar glove of a flexible nature, which process consists essentially of: a) fluidizing finely divided particles of a polyurethane prepolymer, b) pre-heating a glove form to a temperature at which the particles will adhere to the form when in contact therewith, c) immersing the pre-heated form in the fluidized particles such that the particles deposit on the form, d) heating the form to melt the particles such that the particles flow out into a thin continuous essentially pin hole-free film, and e) curing the film.
Claim 9

Claim 11
Dependent Claim 17 words
A process according to any preceding claim, wherein the film form is pre-treated with a release agent.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 24 words
A process according to any preceding claim, wherein at least 80% by weight of the particles range from 20 to 75 microns in size.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 16 words
A process according to any preceding claim, wherein the particles are cooled as they are fluidized.
