Abstract

In the case of a single-needle dialysis device, blood is conveyed into a memory, the walls of which can be expanded elastically. This reservoir is provided within a gas-tight hollow body which is connected to a pump via a line and can be placed under overpressure or underpressure by means of a fluid conveyed by the pump. As a result, the elastic memory is either compressed or expanded.
