Abstract

Abstract In a magnetic recording disc cartridge, a hub assembly composed of an upper hub member (13) and a lower hub member (14) inseparably connected with each other clamps a peripheral portion of a central hole (15) defined in a magnetic recording sheet (10) between inner portions (13b,14b) of surfaces of the hub members with a portion of the magnetic recording sheet (10) opposed to the outer portions of the hub members unclamped.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 204 words
A magnetic recording disc cartridge which comprises: a cartridge case (1) composed of a pair of plate members (2,3) being placed oppositely to each other, one of said plate members (2,3) having a first opening (9) for receiving a drive shaft (P) of a recording/ reproducing apparatus and a second opening (21) for receiving a magnetic recording head (H) of said recording/reproducing apparatus; and a magnetic recording disc (10) formed by a magnetic recording sheet having a hole (15) defined in the central portion thereof in correspondence to said first opening (9) and a hub assembly (13,14) mounted in said central hole (15), said magnetic recording disc (10) being rotatably contained in said predetermined space between said pair of plate members (2,3) of said cartridge case (1) so that said hub assembly (13,14) is opposed to said first opening (9), said hub assembly (13,14) being composed of an upper hub member (14) inseparably connected with each other for clamping said peripheral portion of said central hole (15) of said magnetic recording sheet between the inner portions (13b,14b) of the surfaces of the hub members (13, 14) with a portion of the magnetic recording sheet opposed to the outer portions of the hub members undamped.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 204 words

Claim 3
Dependent Claim 37 words
The magnetic recording disc cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said hub members (13,14) are formed by plastic resin material to be integrally connected with each other by an ultrasonic welding method under a concavo-convex engaging condition.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 55 words
The magnetic recording disc cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said hub members (13, 14) respectively have projectingly-formed stepped surfaces (13b,14b) to be butted with each other in said opposite surfaces at inward portions in the radial direction, thereby clampingly holding said peripheral portion of said central hole (15) of said magnetic recording sheet therebetween.
