Method for the surveillance of an electricity generating nuclear power plant
Abstract
The invention relates to a method for monitoring a power plant equipped with a nuclear reactor. We define a set of situations corresponding to the different operating or shutdown phases of the reactor. The parameters useful for monitoring the plant are grouped into functions, each corresponding to the accomplishment of a particular task in the plant. Its state is determined, for each of the parameters of each of the functions, according to a category describing its ability to contribute to the accomplishment of the function. Each of the functions is assigned the most unfavorable state assigned to at least one of its parameters. The situation is assigned the most unfavorable state attributed to at least one of the functions. The information relating to the status of each of the functions is displayed. A control desk with three monitoring zones (25, 26 and 27) can be used. The invention applies in particular to nuclear power plants equipped with a pressurized water reactor.
