Abstract

@ Device for transferring in legless components, in particular so-called component chips, from a webbing (7) to an intended setting position (29) of a circuit board (31), the components (3) being guided in the webbing (7) in a fixed manner. A pusher, which presses the components individually against a suction sensor (21), is used to remove them from the belt strap (7). The component is secured between the ejector and the suction transducer, which move down synchronously with one another, against tearing off the suction transducer, and is drawn into a slide chamber (23) through guide walls of an ejection channel (53). After picking up the component (3), the slide (25) moves into the setting position from which it lifts a suction pipette (27) and later places it on the circuit board. From the moment it is taken over from the belt strap until it is placed on the circuit board, the component is constantly sucked in by negative pressure. This is caused by the fact that a vacuum remains in the slide even after the suction sensor has been pulled back, which holds the component in place when the slide moves until the suction pipette sucks it in again. The component is therefore no longer free from being taken over from the belt strap until it is put on the setting position. This makes alignment of the component much easier. A first alignment takes place in the push-out channel, a second alignment in the slide chamber and finally in the alignment chamber after being lifted out of the slide chamber into the alignment chamber.
