Method and arrangement for demodulating frequency-modulated signals using sampled values
Abstract
The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for demodulating time-discrete frequency-modulated signals, in which samples of the signal (1) to be demodulated are linked to one another in such a way that from the output signal (U 2 ) to the instantaneous frequency (f) of the signal (1) to be demodulated. can be closed. To obtain the output signal (U 2 ), a first weighted sum (S z ) of k samples (dividend) is divided by a second weighted sum (S N ) of m samples (divisor) (k, m = 1, 2, 3. ..), the samples being chosen equidistantly so that when the samples (A 1 to A 6 ) are represented in the vector diagram, in which each sample (A 1 to A 6 ) is a complex number a vector (A 1 to A 6 ) corresponds to the phase position of the vector sum of the dividend (S z ) around the phase position of the vector sum of the divisor (S N ) (n = 0, 1.2, ...).
