Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 88 words
A cassette for use in a radiation image recording and readout system comprising: a storage medium (18) comprising a layer of stimulable phosphor (18B) for storing therein a latent image formed by an imagewise radiation, and casing means (11) for enclosing said storage medium (18), characterized in that said storage medium has means for identification (22) attached to it and said casing means (11) has an opening (16) positioned substantially in correspondence with the identification means (22) so as to allow identification from outside of the cassette (10).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 88 words
A cassette for use in a radiation image recording and readout system comprising: a storage medium (18) comprising a layer of stimulable phosphor (18B) for storing therein a latent image formed by an imagewise radiation, and casing means (11) for enclosing said storage medium (18), characterized in that said storage medium has means for identification (22) attached to it and said casing means (11) has an opening (16) positioned substantially in correspondence with the identification means (22) so as to allow identification from outside of the cassette (10).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 22 words
A cassette in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the identification data (24) on the identification means (22) are visually readable.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 30 words
A cassette in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said identification means (22) comprises a magnetic recording medium (24A) on which the identification data are magnetically recordable and readable.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 71 words
A cassette in accordance with claim 1, wherein said casing means (11) has two halves, characterized in that an imagewise radiation is to impinge onto the layer of stimulable phosphor (18B) through one of the halves (12), the identification means is attached to the main surface of the layer of stimulable phosphor facing the other of the halves (14), and that said opening (16) is provided in the other half (14).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 46 words
A cassette in accordance with claim 4, characterized in that said storage medium (18) comprises a layer of light absorbing material (18A) absorbing stimulative rays for the stimulable phosphor, said layer of light absorbing material (18A) facing the other half (14) of the casing means (11).
