Abstract
Abstract The device is provided with a pair of surfaces (48, 48 or 50, 50) which come into contact with the disc (42) when the disc (42) is inserted or ejected. The surfaces are not parallel with each other and lie symmetrically in the direction of insertion of the disc (42) so that the peripheral edge is the only part of the disc which comes into contact with the pair of surfaces.

Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
77 words
A device (14) for carrying a disc (42) in a disc-player, said device comprising: a pair of surfaces (48, 48) in contact with said disc when said disc is inserted or ejected, said pair of surfaces being not parallel with each other and lying symmetrically in the direction of insertion of said disc so that the peripheral edge of the disc is the only part of said disc which comes into contact with said pair of surfaces.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
77 words
A device (14) for carrying a disc (42) in a disc-player, said device comprising: a pair of surfaces (48, 48) in contact with said disc when said disc is inserted or ejected, said pair of surfaces being not parallel with each other and lying symmetrically in the direction of insertion of said disc so that the peripheral edge of the disc is the only part of said disc which comes into contact with said pair of surfaces.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
66 words
A device according to claim 1, further comprising second pair of surfaces (50, 50) opposite said first pair of surfaces (48, 48),said second pair of surfaces also being not parallel with each other and lying symmetrically in the direction of insertion of said disc so that the peripheral edge is the only part of said disc which comes into contact with said second pair of surfaces.
Claim 4
Independent Claim
66 words
A device (14) for carrying a disc (42) in a disc-player, said device comprising: a pair of surfaces (48, 48) for receiving said disc, said pair of surfaces being not parallel with each other and lying symmetrically in the direction of insertion of said disc so that the peripheral edge is the only part of said disc which comes into contact with said pair of surfaces.
Claim 5
Independent Claim
66 words
A device (14) for carrying a disc (42) in a disc-player, said device comprising: a pair of surfaces (48, 48) for receiving said disc, said pair of surfaces being not parallel with each other and lying symmetrically in the direction of insertion of said disc so that the peripheral edge is the only part of said disc which comes into contact with said pair of surfaces.
